Let me feel the sunshine on my face
Lucid dreams to hide within
When my reality comes crashing down on me

There’s no place where I’d rather be
The ultimate fantasy
To escape the agony of the real

I want to drown myself
In simulated pleasure
My own utopia molded into a dream
An irresistible, compelling urge to lose control
I have to give in to its call

I need
To make it through the day
I proceed
To turn and run away
Lucid dreams to hide within
